We offer a standard payroll service with options to add on the following:

• Payroll features, such as timeclock solutions and showing PTO on paystubs
• Situational payroll, such as for new hire reporting and employment verifications

We want to focus on reasonable service offerings, meaning maximizing efficiency and minimizing fees.

Because of this, we currently do not offer these accounting services:

• Bill pay
• Invoicing
• Job costing
• Inventory management
• Some one-off items (personal financial statements, business valuations, financial audits)

We also do not offer these payroll services:

• Job costing.
• Manually adding up hours worked and entering them into our system. However, our timekeeping solution does this automatically.
• Determining overtime hours.
• Divvying up pooled tips.
• Calculating commissions.
• Reporting fringe benefits to unions.
• Determining monthly deductions for non-monthly payroll.
  

There are many benefits of having accounting and payroll services under one roof. Accounting and payroll go hand-in-hand. When information about one is needed by the other, you have to pass information back and forth if you’re using different providers. If an accounting department and a payroll department are within one company, your accountant can advise your payroll specialist. Plus, your accountant needs your payroll information every month.

With a smaller company, you’ll receive better customer service for both of these areas. Plus, they tend to have payroll specialists employed much longer, meaning less time you need to spend getting acquainted with a new contact.
